I've met many people who studied English for years and still can't open their mouth. The problem isn't knowledge — it's practice. My lessons are speaking practice, not a grammar book.

A band score isn't just a number, it's a door. Here are the thresholds common destinations usually ask for.
Thresholds vary by school and by visa route. These are the values commonly asked for; always check the requirement where you are applying.

Meetings, presentations, interviews, email. We work with the vocabulary of your own field.
No exam, no target — just speaking. For people who want to stop freezing.
What lifts a Speaking score isn't more vocabulary; it's fluency, coherence, and the ability to extend an answer.
5.5 → 6.0
Answers are short and broken. We work on lengthening the sentence first, then linking ideas.
Usually enough forMost undergraduate courses
6.0 → 6.5
Adding a reason and an example to every answer. This is where most of the marks live.
Usually enough forMost master's programmes
6.5 → 7.0
Moving past memorised phrases into idiom, stress and intonation. Pronunciation enters here.
Usually enough forVisa and job applications
7.0 → 7.5+
Opinions on abstract topics, counter-arguments, staying fluent without self-correcting.
Usually enough forPhD and academic posts

The real IELTS Speaking format: Part 1, a cue card, and Part 3, on exam timing. Record your answers and listen back — most people hear the problem for the first time right there.
Three parts, real timings. Your microphone will be on and your answers are recorded only in your own browser — nothing is uploaded.
Part 1 — Introduction
3 × 30s
Part 2 — Cue Card
1 + 2 min
Part 3 — Discussion
2 × 60s
Read the sentence aloud and let the browser tell you what it heard. You'll see exactly which word tripped you. Nothing needed but a microphone.
This is my brother and his wife.
Tip: The th in 'this' is not a 'd'. Touch your tongue tip to your upper teeth and voice it.
Honestly: about 15–20 lessons for half a band, with steady practice. Don't trust anyone promising 7.0 in two months — the exam doesn't work like that.
No. Learning grammar while speaking is faster than learning grammar and then trying to speak. We correct as you go.
IELTS doesn't score accent, it scores intelligibility. Plenty of people score 8.0 with a Turkish accent. We work on stress and intonation, not on erasing how you sound.
Entirely. The first few feel hard, then you adjust — which is precisely the point.
